A.C.E.2ではロボットの操作方法を2種類からえらぶことが出来ます。
セレクトタイプのほうが初心者向の操作方法。
シフトタイプはL1ボタンと他の各ボタンの組み合わせで対応した武器を瞬時に使用することができる上級者向けの操作方法となっています。
≪セレクトタイプ≫
ボタン 内容
□ ウェポンで攻撃
L1 兵器の切り替え
R3+L3 パージする（装甲解除）
≪シフトタイプ≫
ボタン 内容
□ ウェポン1で攻撃
L1 ウェポンのシフトウィンドウ表示
L1+□ ウェポン1で攻撃する
L1+○ ウェポン2で攻撃する
L1+△ ウェポン3で攻撃する
L1+× ウェポン4で攻撃する
L1+R1 ウェポン5で攻撃する
L1+R2 ウェポン6で攻撃する
R3+L3 パージする（装甲解除）
